We are off again!

After Eight years of living in West Belfast, we believe the Lord is asking us to move 'Further West' but before we go further west we are about to travel north south east and west.
First of all we will join other pilgrims in walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
From St Jean-Pied-du-Port to Santiago de Compostela (769 km)

We hope to record our adventures here, to keep you posted.

Into the West

Now we are into our newest house, a house that God has given us to make a home of.

3 By wisdom a house is built,
and through understanding it is established;

4 through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures.Proverbs 24

Ps84
10For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

And all that so many ever find
Is only the wall where a door ought to be.
They creep along the wall like blind men,
With outstretched, groping hands,
Feeling for a door,
knowing there must be a door,
Yet they never find it - - -
So I stay near the door.
from SO I STAY NEAR THE DOOR

4-02-2007 Fix your eyes on Jesus

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus
Helen H. Lemmel, 1922

How to spell faith *
How far will you go?
Will you get out of the boat?
Will you go?

Isaiah 6 (NIV)
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory."
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."
6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
9 He said, "Go and tell this people:
" 'Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.'

A visiting woman in church today had a vision for a man called Mark, she asked all those called Mark to raise their hands, she then said the Mark she had the word for was wearing a red shirt...IT WAS ME!
The word she had for me was that I was in a boat and that Jesus was calling me to Him. I needed to be courageous and step out...

And way back then...

well in July 2004 Angie and I believed we heard God say "move to Belfast"...
We put the house up for sale, and waited...
moved our boys to a Belfast school and waited...
God said find a spiritual home in Belfast and we did we joined Belfast City Vineyard around Easter 2006 and waited...
then our house sold...
but we had no where to go to, we just couldn't find a house.
